We're Back!

We're back and how! I'm sure everyone's been wondering when Infinity is? Well, the dates are out 23rd, 24th and the 25th of January! That's 16 days away!
And do we have a line-up for you afficandos - simmer around by dancing to the beats of street dance, live your life away to the tunes of the battle of bands! We're coming up with so much more, but till then watch out for the next sign!

Infinity 2011...Just 26 days to go!

Updates...updates..and a new Competition!!

Its time v had our next competition online! For those who are just viewing the blog do check out the earlier posts for our "Click and Win!" competition..it has another 23 days to close..so hurry up on that!!:-)

Coming back to Competition 2 - This is gonna be an ongoing weekly competition - "The most active member on Facebook" - Its simple..all u have to do is be the most active member on Facebook each week..we will be declaring winners on our community page and blog on the basis of number of posts, photos, likes, comments, etc...

It doesn't end here...here's the good part..the person having the maximum awards till infinity ends, will win a - Sweatshirt!! :-)

Our last week winner was a tricky decision..between  

Ritika Bolakani and Jai Khiani..but we'll be giving it to Jai Khiani for Week 1 - December '10. (Kudos to Jai!)

Competitions..Fun..Excitement..it all begins!

Do you wanna be one of those lucky people to be on the Infinity '11 Blog and Twitter Page? Well here's your chance to show off your creativity..All you have to do is include the Infinity theme into your photograph in the most whackiest(if that's a word) and eye-catching way possible..and you will surely find yourself here..

Poll results...and more!

Wow! That poll went well!! Although i felt it took awfully long to get these results declared..Planning to cut down on poll time for the upcoming one..Neway getting back to our results..According to the 43 votes pooling in..Taboo, Treasure Hunt and Street Dance stole the show in Infinity '10! Other popular events were the Quiz, Mad Ads and Jam..other events did poll fairly..Although it seems Rangoli and Poster Making did not find a lot of popularity (atleast with those following the blog)..All in all we really appreciate the response we've been getting so far..stay tuned to our blog for our upcoming competition..also..check out our new poll!:-)

Oh and more thing...our polls will be open for only 7 days..so vote up!

Infinity 2010!..Recap..

Let us take u all on a tour down memory lane..Infinity '10 was a Great Success!! A mere idea put into action wud turn out to be a star event for the year, no one cud have imagined. Starting from scratch was'nt an easy task..but hell yea we did it!! :-) Right from getting a nod (..it wasnt easy as it seems) to the final d-day, as we remember it now was like a roller-coaster-ride! We dont really need to explain how..with less than two months on hand and great support from our heads and not to forget our students, our faculty and non-teaching staff, infinity won the hearts despite all the odds..we will carry Infinity forward as a tradition..Infinity, this time around will bring u more excitement, glamour and most importantly VARIETY! To add on to its infinite nature, we will not just be having events on the 3 days in Jan, but also we'll bring you pre-event competitions..so stay tuned to our blog!

We unfortunately were not able to successfully capture the event on the camera..here's a glimpse of a few events back in Infinity '10..in case u have any more pics and videos..do inform us and pass it on to infinity.wadias@gmail.com  -  we'll surely put it up... Cheers! :-)

Do the guys use Old Spice?

The other day we were thinking of adding a specific 'Old Spice soundtrack' to a video for Infinity...and we stumbled upon this hilarious ad campaign! Also...don't forget to take the poll..its about to end in the next 8 days...Taboo and Treasure hunt are in the lead! Anyone pity Rangoli and Poster Making? They're right now at a modest "zero" votes :p

a lot can happen over coffee

“A lot can happen over coffee” yeah, we stuck to the motto of café coffee day…

Thursday, 18th November : 10.30 a.m
As decided earlier, all of us(core committee) were suppose to meet at nucleus mall, c.c.d, 10.30 sharp. Obviously people like me can never be on time, lol. so there I was 10 mins late. Akanksha , Sa’ad n Krutika had already started the discussion. The main objective of this meeting was division of work, responsibilities n duties.Shiri, Aniket Ajinkya, Somesh, Salomi, Abhay, n Taher joined us eventually , though we missed Shivang, Rashmi and Hetal.

Unlike last year, this time we are trying to be a little systematic and organized by making committees like fund-raising, communications, finance, logistics and day-in-charge. We winded up by 12.30.

Honestly speaking, it feels amazing to meet everyone after a long diwali break. Amidst all the entrance exams coming up, all d stress, all d tension, we all came together and started our planning for INFINITY..

Like they say, “Its not about the final destination, but the journey towards it.”

P.S : Nucleus C.C.D claims to have wi-fi, and they have a huge poster saying so, BUT mind you, they do not have wi-fi, and i assume the waiter doesn't know what wi-fi means..(lol)

Its official! Infinity is now online!

Its something everyone has been waiting for..the build-up to the most awaited inter-collegiate event - Infinity. This blog in no time should be overflowing with the latest news on infinity, the events, the students, and more. Also we'll be having a poll every 15 days..so make sure u miss none of them. Stay tuned with our 'weekly-whack' quizzes. For starters - we give u the "are u insane" quiz. We can assure u that not only will we deliver during the event in Jan '11 but also through the journey to the event in which we'll be having a number of competitions and will be giving away amazing prizes for each winner! Also we'll be including a number of cool gadgets into the blog - hope u enjoy them!
